Picnic in the Park 2022 is almost here!
Come and join us on Sunday 11th September at Mina Road Park from 1pm – 5pm. The full programme can be viewed here: PITP Programme 2022.
Neck of the Woods Cafe will also be open at St Werburghs Community Centre on the day and we’ll have a calm, quiet space there too with activities for SEND children and their families.
We have been very busy planning our beloved community event and we are really excited to share all the activities with you on the day. We are delighted to report that we exceeded our crowdfund target and have raised over £1400. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us through the crowdfund.
We’re really looking forward to seeing lots of you on the day. Please spread the word!

We’ve launched a crowdfund campaign with Crowdfunder to raise money to support Picnic in the Park and our beloved community centre.
Did you come to Picnic in the Park last year or previous years? If you did and you enjoyed the event, please consider supporting us this year by sharing our crowdfund campaign and donating if you can. We would be extremely grateful for any help you can offer us so that we can reach our target, whether that’s shouting from the rooftops, sharing on your social media accounts or contributing money to our wonderful community event.

Would you like to volunteer?
We Need You for this year’s Picnic in the Park! This fun packed afternoon needs the support of a team of willing volunteers to make it a success. If you can spare 2 1/2 hours, there are a variety of shifts or roles to choose from. We are looking for volunteers to:
Be on our info desk and volunteer sign-in area
Meet & greet people as they arrive
Supervise key areas of the event
Guide people between the park and St Werburghs Community Centre
Litter picking
Help with set up or take down

On 11th September we’ll be in Mina Road Park celebrating our wonderful community and we want you to join us. There are loads of ways you can support the event including volunteering, sponsoring and helping us spread the work by telling friends and family. St Werburghs Community Centre NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We are looking for help from local Bristol companies to contribute towards PICNIC IN THE PARK! Our annual community festival, which will take place in Mina Road Park on Sunday 11th September 2022.
There are loads of ways to get involved:
- Donate a prize for our raffle – give people a taste of what you do best!
- Donate funds towards the cost of an activity in our youth or wellbeing areas – such as a dance class, drumming or yoga taster.
- Support our volunteers with funds towards a free meal in exchange for their hard work
- Be an essential part of the event by supporting core costs – all money raised goes into making this community-led event happen
In return for your kindness we will acknowledge you in our programme for the event, in our social media in the lead up to the event and on the main stage during the raffle draw.
