Warm Welcome Drop-In

Warm Welcome is a dedicated advice drop-in within our warm community hub with free facilities. Warm Packs, data cards and the support you need to save money and access benefit advice.
Every Thursday from 10am to 2pm. (All year round.)
St Werburghs’ Warm Welcome drop-in is a weekly multiagency response to support needs in our community. This service focuses on partnership working and was funded by The National Grid Community Matters Fuel Poverty Fund. The original service run from December 2023 to March 2024, but following the success of this initiative, the ongoing support delivered in partnership with Citizens Advice and Clean Slate now is rolled out all year round.
The presence of professionals from various agencies has allowed us to build strong, collaborative relationships that have significantly benefited our organisation and the wider community. By working alongside experts in diverse fields, such as health and legal advice, we can offer more holistic support to our clients, meeting their varied needs and helping them make significant strides toward financial independence and employment.
This dedicated space enables us to provide essential money guidance and employment support to diverse individuals, each with unique needs and goals. The space’s privacy, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere have been instrumental in fostering meaningful, one-on-one interactions, ensuring that clients feel safe, respected, and supported. This service offers free refreshments.
