This year’s Picnic in the Park is approaching, and we want you to get involved. There are loads of ways you can support this much-loved annual event in Mina Road Park.

Want to run a stall?

Run a Stall

Local residents, artists, makers, businesses and charities are invited to run a stall at Picnic in the Park 2023. Interested? Find out more below about which stall is right for you and download your booking form.

– Large Organisations Stall
Stall for larger organisations, such as local and national government groups, political parties and charities as well as larger private businesses, with the aim of selling a product, service or membership.

Stall for smaller or local organisations or businesses and trading stalls, with the aim of selling a product, service or membership.

– Resident Stall
Stall for local artists and trading residents, with the aim of selling a product, service or membership.

-Workshop or Activity Stall
Workshops or stalls for demonstrations and activities that will not be charging for participation will not be charged. If you intend to charge, please see resident stall or organisation stall. However, you are very welcome to use your stall to advertise classes, outside workshops and practices you may have.

Sponsor Picnic in the Park

Support your community by sponsoring our much-loved family festival!

Picnic in the Park is run entirely on donations and money raised on the day of the event, including through our ever-popular raffle! There are so many ways you can help us to raise funds for this magnificent mini-festival.

– Contribute towards the overall cost of Picnic in the Park

Volunteering at Picnic in the Park

Picnic in the Park 2023 needs you!

We’re looking for a team of willing volunteers to help make our much-loved mini festival a big success. If you can spare two hours or more on Sunday 3rd September then please get in touch. There are various shifts and roles available including:

Meeting and greeting people as they arrive
Assisting on our info desk and volunteer sign-in area
Supervising key areas and activities
Litter picking
Helping with setting up or taking down
